Unique Mental Healthcare

Colorado Health Collective is a small, woman-owned mental health private practice in Lakewood and Denver, Colorado, offering compassionate, personalized care for individuals (15+) navigating PTSD, complex trauma (CPTSD), depression, anxiety, eating disorders, and other mental health challenges.

Our approach is anything but conventional. We offer therapy in a peaceful urban farm setting at the Finding Hiawatha farm in Lakewood, CO, where clients can engage with therapy animals, nature, and art alongside evidence-based talk therapy. For those drawn to movement and body-based healing, we also provide fitness therapy at our private personal training studio in Denver.

Whether you prefer individual or group therapy, in-person care, or virtual sessions via Zoom, our goal is to make healing accessible, comfortable, and deeply personalized.

At Colorado Health Collective, we combine evidence-based modalities—including Internal Family Systems (IFS), EMDR, DBT, and person-centered and existential approaches—with creative and experiential therapies to help you reconnect with yourself and build lasting resilience.

Here, you’ll find a safe, inclusive space to heal, grow, and rediscover your sense of balance and belonging.

Hi - I am Erin! I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor in Denver, Colorado, with six years of clinical experience. My early career was spent in animal assisted community mental health. After three years in agency work, I transitioned to private practice, eventually founding Colorado Health Collective.

My approach to the therapeutic process is based on my belief in the inherent worthiness of every human being. I approach our work together as a collaborative and respectful process in which the relationship itself is a space of safety and healing. I believe all people need a space to feel unconditionally loved without fear of judgment and rejection. Utilizing a personalized blend of animal assisted therapy, IFS work, EMDR, nature-based interventions, somatic body based work, and person-centered theory, I work collaboratively with Clients in reaching their goals. Currently, I work with motivated adults ages 16+ who are ready to change their lives and heal.

I have experience in working with complex trauma, depression, anxiety, complex grief, and adult children of parents with personality disorders. I also have experience in working with clients with eating disorders, disorder eating habits, athletes in recovery, and body image. In addition, I support people with relationship challenges and divorce.

Clients who want to work with me have explored relational, career, creative, artistic, and personal challenges. As well as individuals who crave deeper exploration and understanding of themselves and their internal world. I believe black lives matter and social justice is of core importance to therapy, as well as taking in consideration cultural and generational contexts.

As a feminist therapist, I am committed to working toward the dismantling of oppressive systems and examining the social, cultural, racial, and political factors influencing mental health, particularly those related to gender, race, power dynamics, and social justice. My approach aims to empower clients, promote equality, and challenge these structures.

In addition, I have been a fitness professional for over a decade from personal training, teaching Zumba, and coaching at Orange Theory Fitness. I believe wholeheartedly in the important healing connection between the mind and body. Mental and physical health have a mutually reciprocal relationship, and it is our job to respect what both our minds and bodies need.
