Telehealth - accessible healthcare from the privacy of your own home.
Telehealth is simply counseling that happens through secure video sessions, typically using Zoom or phone, allowing you to connect from wherever you feel most comfortable—your home, your car, or any private space. If you’ve never tried it before, it can feel surprisingly natural. You’ll see and talk with me in real time, just like you would in an office, and we’ll move at a pace that feels right for you. Many clients find that being in their own environment helps them feel more relaxed, open, and grounded during sessions.
My approach to telehealth is warm, collaborative, and flexible. I integrate the same modalities I use in person—such as parts work, trauma-informed care, and EMDR techniques—while adapting them thoughtfully for a virtual space. We can still engage in meaningful, experiential work together, whether that’s processing emotions, building coping skills, or gently exploring your inner world. Telehealth also offers added convenience and consistency, making it easier to prioritize your mental health without the stress of commuting or scheduling constraints.
I use a HIPAA-compliant version of Zoom to protect your privacy and confidentiality. To participate, you’ll just need a computer, phone, or tablet with a reliable internet connection. If you live with others, I encourage you to find a quiet, private space where you feel comfortable speaking freely without being overheard. Just like in my in-person work, my therapy animals may occasionally be present during virtual sessions—and your animals are always welcome to join, too
